I have several students right now who are struggling with note reading. Is My Child Ready to Begin Piano Lessons?

When parents of young kids find out I am a piano teacher, their first question is almost always “What is the best age to begin piano lessons?” To which I respond with the ever-ambiguous “It depends!” Which is both very true and very not helpful!
